English 69: Focus on Grammar study and review

Ask a tutor to show you how to use the grammar study program Focus on Grammar. Find the appropriate level for yourself and study several of the lessons. Write a one-page review of your work with the program. Here are some questions to help you organize your response:

1) Write one paragraph explaining two things you liked about studying with Focus on Grammar, two things you didn’t like about the experience, and two things that were difficult to understand.

2) Write one paragraph explaining your feelings of how helpful the program was for you. Did studying with the program help you with your other classes? If you use a Focus on Grammar book for your other class, how was the combination of book study and computer study? If you have only studied grammar with a book or teacher before, how was the experience of studying with the computer?

3) Write one paragraph in which you explain one grammar lesson as explained by Focus on Grammar as compared to a lesson on the same point of grammar from another source. You may use a different grammar book or one of the online sources below:
