English 67, Writing Lab, is the basic tutoring program of the Writing Centers. It is designed primarily for those students seeking one-on-one tutoring in all aspects of academic English.

Instructors and tutors are available for you to meet with and discuss just the challenges or problems you may be having with academic English--for any course or assignment.

Bring in the work you already have assigned from other courses and we can discuss ideas and organization to help you get started, show you how to use the word processors to type your writing, work with you on revision, then help you check your final draft before you turn it in.

 English 67 meets when you need it: the Writing Centers are open about 60 hours each week. Come in any time. No appointments are necessary.

If other courses you wanted were too full this semester, we can work together to organize practice projects so that you can prepare now for a course you may take next semester.

English 67 is one-half unit, graded Credit/No Credit, and only ten hours study in the Writing Centers during the whole semester are required for Credit. There is no maximum amount of tutoring: you are welcome to come as often as you need help.
